Call for case study papers

We are pleased to issue a call for case study papers (complete with teaching notes) for a Special Theme Section of the Journal of Business Ethics Education Volume 9, 2012.

The theme of the section "How firms in emerging economies deal with the ethical consequences of globalisation", calls for cases which illustrate the ethical dimensions and challenges to business in the context of the emerging economies and respond in particular to how such firms deal with the consequences of globalisation.

Call for complementary papers
In addition to an indicative length of 4000-7000 words we invite supplementary teaching notes. This is to respond to the journals mission “to assist educators in this task by providing timely educational materials and a forum for discussion of pedagogical issues”.

We suggest that each case follows the following format:

(i)               an introduction including a clear problem statement and the ethical/ emerging market context (200/300 words),

(ii)              the narrative of the case, and

(iii)            a conclusion responding to the opening problem.

Teaching notes will be made available only in the online version.

Completed papers will be submitted to the Guest Editor of the Special Theme Section, David Bevan (david.bevan@eabis.org) by 1 December 2011.
